Leodis was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2021 and is a member of the firm’s Estate Planning, Probate and Administration of Estates Department.
Leodis hails from the parish of St. Thomas and is the holder of a Bachelor of Laws Degree which she completed with Honours at the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School. During her time at the law school, she was awarded The Course Director’s Prize for having the best performance in the Law of Evidence Exam.
Leodis is passionate about volunteerism and female empowerment which has caused her to become involved in and occupy leadership positions in several clubs and societies at various stages throughout her academic career. Some of these include : the Royal Octagon Club, Peer Counselling Society, Police Youth Club and the Women In Action Society. She has also volunteered and provided legal support to the Fi We Children Foundation.
It is her mission to always aim for excellence and to be a positive role model for women in her community. She believes same is attainable by having a persistent mindset, hardworking spirit and God by her side.
