Dane is the firm’s Managing Partner. Dane specializes in all aspects of Land Law including Conveyancing, Residential and Commercial Sub-Divisions and  Developments and STRATA Developments. Dane also has extensive knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law including the preparation and negotiation of lease agreements and advising clients generally on the rights and obligations of both Landlord and Tenant. He also specializes in Commercial Law to include the preparation and negotiation of Contracts and Agreements and the sale and purchase of shares, transfer of shares and registering overseas companies to do business in Jamaica.

Dane is charged with the responsibility of heading up Abendana & Abendana’s Mortgage Portfolio and is an expert in the Registration and Discharge of mortgages and other securities.

Dane has a pleasant demeanor which is matched by his intelligence and witty personality. He is the holder of a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of the West Indies and was called to the Jamaican bar in 1992.

Dane has served on several boards and committees across the island. He is a Justice of the Peace for the parish of Saint Mary and sits on the panel of the Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Council.
